Circle C Cowboy Church offers a relaxed church atmosphere for the cowboy and cowgirl, rancher, farmer, John Wayne fan or anyone that enjoys the western culture and traditional values that made our country great.  At Circle C, most people attend in their jeans and some come straight from the pasture.  We have attempted to eliminate the barriers that have kept so many from attending traditional churches.  We don’t pass an offering plate.  For those who are led to give an offering, there is a hat in the back of the church where you can make your gift to God.  You won’t hear a pipe organ at our church, but you will most certainly hear the twang of a guitar as our band plays traditional gospel songs with a country flair.  Nobody will be pushing you down the aisle to make a salvation decision.  That will be between you and the Lord.  Our baptisms are performed in a stock watering tank.  God has blessed Circle C in so many ways since our first service in the fall of 2006.  Our church is a place for down-to-earth people to meet with God without fanfare or pretense.

Pastor Pat Alphin leads our worship service.   Pat and his wife Renee were part of the founding team of the Cross Brand Cowboy Church in Tyler.  Pat blends his message with stories from his past rodeo life to draw analogies with the Bible to real-life situations.  We have a potluck lunch every third Sunday at Circle C and enjoy some down-home cooking for all in attendance.  Each Sunday morning, you will find the parking lot scattered with young “Cowkids” as they practice their roping skills before our service.  Youth are an extremely important group to Circle C and we have a separate ministry for them.  Activities are held for our Cowkids such as youth rodeos and festivals.  One of the ways our church reaches out to others is through sponsoring rodeo events, trail rides, horse clinics and other events of the western culture.  These events allow us to establish friends, enjoy the thrills and excitement of rodeo events while sharing the Word of God.

Though our services may be a little different than what most are familiar with, we do have a doctrine that is soundly based on Biblical principles.  The foundation of our belief is that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, Who died for our sins and rose from the grave.  All of those who personally accept Christ as their savior are therefore saved and cleansed from their past sins.  We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the authority in our life and faith.  God is presented to us in three ways:  God, His Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.  We know that man was created in the image of God, but as humans, we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God.  We are saved from those sins thru God’s grace and belief in His Son Jesus as our Savior.

We invite you to visit with us and experience the traditional values that have caused a surge in the growth rate of Cowboy Churches across America.  You don’t have to own a horse, cow or farm to attend.  Loving your neighbor for whom and what they are and declaring your love for Christ is our only expectation.  Our services are held at 10:30 each Sunday at 3052 CR 238 in Henderson.  Our Bible study is at 7:00 on Wednesday nights.

One of our fellow cowboy churches has produced a great video about their church.  The video does a real good job of explaining the uniqueness of the cowboy church and their missions.  Click HERE view the video produced by Rafter J Cowboy Church in Terrell, Texas.
